Recently, China Kingstone Mining Holdings Limited (Stock Code: 1380.HK, “China Kingstone”) announced that it had entered into a tripartite strategic cooperation memorandum of understanding with First Asia Merchants Bullion Limited (“First Gold”) and First Gold Shop Holdings Group Limited (“First Gold Shop”). The cooperation aims to extend China Kingstone’s gold business from upstream resources to downstream segments including trading, casting, retail and recycling, with a view to building a vertically integrated gold platform covering the full chain from “mine to market”.

As an important partner of China Kingstone, LongCharm Resources has long focused on and actively participated in the integration of gold industry resources and international development. The strategic cooperation between China Kingstone, First Gold and First Gold Shop represents another important step in China Kingstone’s efforts to extend its gold industry chain and enhance value creation, following its progress in the Pumillahue gold mine project in Chile. It also opens broader room for collaboration between Longcharm Resources and China Kingstone in areas such as gold resources, industrial funds, international markets and downstream channels.

To date, China Kingstone has established a promising gold resource footprint through the Pumillahue gold mine project in Chile. The project has identified approximately 2.5 tonnes of gold resources at the preliminary drilling stage, demonstrating a solid resource foundation. As subsequent exploration work continues, the volume of gold resources controlled by China Kingstone still has potential for further expansion. If the relevant exploration, development and commercialization work progresses smoothly, China Kingstone is expected to further strengthen its upstream resource base and provide stable support for its vertical integration strategy across the gold industry chain.

Under the cooperation arrangement, China Kingstone intends to supply gold produced from its mining operations in Chile to First Gold’s precious metals trading and related retail system, while jointly promoting the expansion of a high-end gold retail platform in Southeast Asia. The cooperation also covers institutional-level hedging, authorized gold bar casting, gold recycling and mutual investment rights. Through this cooperation, China Kingstone is expected to effectively connect upstream gold resources with trading, casting, branded gold bars, retail and recycling systems, thereby further enhancing the commercial value of its gold output and expanding profit potential across the industry chain.

First Gold has been engaged in the gold and silver business since 1991 and is an AA Category Member of the Hong Kong Gold Exchange. First Gold Shop is the owner and global developer of the “First Gold Shop” retail brand, which currently operates physical stores in prime shopping districts in Hong Kong and plans to open multiple stores in Southeast Asia in the coming years. Leveraging the resources of First Gold and First Gold Shop in precious metals trading, branded retail and regional market expansion, China Kingstone’s gold business is expected to further evolve from a traditional mining asset platform into an integrated gold industry platform.

Longcharm Resources believes that the long-term value of the gold industry lies not only in resource reserves and mining capabilities, but also in industry chain integration, the application of financial instruments, brand channel development and end-market monetization. China Kingstone’s strategic cooperation will help establish a full-chain closed loop from resources, trading and manufacturing to consumer sales and recycling, in line with the global trend toward vertical integration, branding and internationalization in the gold industry.

Looking ahead, Longcharm Resources will continue to leverage its strengths in gold resources, industrial capital, international project coordination and listed company cooperation networks to support China Kingstone’s gold industry chain development. The Group will also continue to explore multi-level cooperation opportunities in overseas gold resource development, gold industry funds, Southeast Asian market expansion, gold retail and recycling systems, jointly promoting high-quality development of the gold industry.
