On June 11, a delegation led by Xu Xiaozhong, Party Secretary and Chairman of Chun'an County Transportation Development Investment Group Co., Ltd., made a special visit to Shanghai to conduct an in-depth exchange with Velowind.
The two parties engaged in productive discussions focused on the collaborative development of the Northeast Lake Area of Qiandao Lake and the creation of a premier destination integrating sports, culture, and tourism.
During the visit, the delegation toured Velowind’s Xuhui incubation base, where they explored the company’s digital operations platform and brand exhibition area. Through the on-site visit, the delegation gained a deeper understanding of Velowind's capabilities in resource integration and project execution within the sports, culture, and tourism sectors.
In the subsequent meeting held at Velowind's Minhang office, both parties conducted comprehensive discussions regarding deeper cooperation on the Northeast Lake project.
Velowind Chairman Liu Hailiang introduced the operational planning strategy for the Northeast Lake area in detail. The vision centers on using sports events as a driving force for regional tourism development, creating a diversified integrated destination that combines:
Cycling greenways
Water sports activities
Lakeside camping experiences
Cultural immersion programs
Wellness and healing retreats
Digital navigation systems
Shared service facilities
By deeply integrating the natural resources of Qiandao Lake with sports, culture, and tourism, the project aims to establish a leading one-stop sports and tourism destination in the Yangtze River Delta region.
Xu Xiaozhong noted that the Northeast Lake area possesses unique shoreline resources and significant transportation advantages. He expressed strong expectations for adopting a “State-Owned Enterprise + Private Enterprise” collaborative model, with the goal of transforming the area into a benchmark destination for integrated sports, culture, and tourism development across the Yangtze River Delta.
He also highly recognized Velowind's professional operational expertise and expressed full confidence in the future partnership between both sides.

As the Grain in Ear (Mangzhong) solar term arrives, midsummer begins.
June in Shanghai is lush and vibrant. Along the banks of the Taipu River, shaded pathways weave through the tranquil scenery of the famous “Water Forest,” presenting a peaceful and picturesque Jiangnan waterscape. Nestled within this environment is Taibaicang Station, a thoughtfully designed service station integrating rest facilities, supply services, cultural exhibition spaces, and light accommodation.

During the visit to Hedang Taibaicang, Liu Hailiang provided a comprehensive introduction to the station's development philosophy, operational model, and the fully integrated cycling route support system.
From functional zoning and visitor flow design to service standards and content integration, Taibaicang Station offers a vivid and practical reference model for the future development of station infrastructure around Qiandao Lake.

Consensus Reached — Joint Working Group to Be Established Soon
Through open and highly efficient discussions, both sides quickly identified the next phase of priorities:
Launch conceptual planning for the Northeast Lake district
Establish a joint working group
Finalize the initial operational timeline and milestones
This marks an important step forward from conceptual planning toward practical implementation, signaling that the development blueprint for the Northeast Lake region of Qiandao Lake is beginning to take shape through the combined efforts of both parties.
The breeze along Taihu Lake and the crystal waters of Qiandao Lake met symbolically during this exchange.
From the cycling service stations along the Taipu River to the future lakeside development plans at Qiandao Lake, Velowind is leveraging its solid operational expertise and forward-looking resource integration capabilities to drive the transformation of outdoor sports and tourism development from isolated projects toward fully integrated regional ecosystems.
Although the visit lasted only one day, the delegation traveled across Qingpu District, Xuhui District, and Minhang District, not only experiencing real operational projects firsthand, but also reaching deep strategic consensus on future planning concepts.
Taking this visit as a new starting point, an exciting new chapter for sports, culture, and tourism development in the Northeast Lake region of Qiandao Lake is now ready to unfold.
