Recently, Longcharm Group's portfolio company, Shanghai Velowind Network Technology Co., Ltd., at the invitation of the Chengdu High-tech Zone Administrative Committee, officially established its Chengdu subsidiary in the High-tech Zone and completed an angel round of fund raising, with the subsidiary achieving a post-investment valuation of several tens of millions of yuan. The completion of this financing not only marks a substantial breakthrough in Velowind's strategic layout in the Southwest China but also further confirms the high recognition from the capital market toward the company's business model and growth potential.

Velowind is a professional life service platform deeply engaged in the outdoor vertical sector in China. Unlike comprehensive cultural and tourism platforms that pursue breadth and coverage, Velowind focuses on the segmented track of Smart Outdoor + Rural Culture and Tourism, and has built a professional closed-loop system covering the full scenarios of outdoor activities, including route planning, outdoor special-purpose vehicle rental, equipment supply, team leader incubation, and emergency rescue. Relying on its independently developed digital system, the platform achieves precise management and control over safety risks, service standards, and user behaviors during outdoor activities, and has verified its vertical operation capabilities in multiple regions. In the meantime, Velowind closely aligns with the core deployments of the 2026 No.1 Central Document regarding “expanding and strengthening the rural culture and tourism industry”, “implementing the digital rural development initiative” and “promoting the two-way flow of urban and rural factors”. It channels outdoor sports traffic accurately to rural resource ends, activates idle rural assets through outdoor activities, drives local employment and the integrated development of agriculture, culture and tourism, and explores a sustainable path for professional outdoor platforms to serve rural revitalization.

Notably, Velowind has been active in the capital market recently and accelerated its regional expansion. In early January this year, Velowind’s parent company completed angel round financing with an overall valuation exceeding 30 million yuan; in mid-March, its Changsha subsidiary also finished angel round financing with a valuation surpassing 10 million yuan. In just a few short months of 2026, the parent company and two regional subsidiaries — in Chengdu and Changsha — have successively received capital backing, fully demonstrating Velowind’s professional strengths and market confidence in the outdoor vertical track.

The fund for the Chengdu subsidiary will provide sufficient financial support and resource integration for the company’s asset acquisition, team building, business expansion and technological R&D in the Southwest market, helping Velowind take root in Chengdu rapidly, radiating to western regions such as Yunnan, Guizhou, Sichuan, and Chongqing, so as to build an outdoor sports service network with regional characteristics. Meanwhile, Velowind has a clear overall development plan: it will also launch business operations in first-tier cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, as well as new first-tier cities including Hangzhou and Wuhan in the first half of the year, establishing a service network covering core cities nationwide.

With technology-driven and regionally intensive development as its core, Velowind is transforming its outdoor sports service capabilities into a sustainable approach to activate the flow of urban and rural factors and empower rural cultural tourism revitalization. While promoting high-quality industrial development, the company is exploring the long-term value of symbiotic prosperity between platform-based enterprises and regional economies.
